Brewhaha Halloween Party

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! These pictures were taken on
Saturday, October 25 at the Brewhaha, a party to benefit
the Bolesta Center. Held at the Rutland-Farley Mansion
in St Petersburg, the good times included fortune tellers,
a live band, food and lots of festive beverages! We had a
great time!
Shelly dressed as a gypsy and Bill as "The Terminator"!

Mary and Rich Anderson joined us - Greek Goddess and warrior!
Laura Hill said she was coming as Tinkerbell - but turned up in the
Cleopatra costume instead!

Mary, Tina LeVasseur and Shelly take a break from the dance floor!
We had a fabulous time and hope more friends will join us next year to make it an even bigger and better party!

A Day at Pass a Grille Beach with the Argyilan Family

Chloe helped Margot at the edge of the water.

Lynne supervised "the crew" out in the water. It was SO warm and very clear!
Jacob's best pal, Liam, was able to join us for the day!
Chloe, a "two fisted snacker" (takes after her mama), with an oreo in one hand and dorito in the other!
Mark and Lynne kicking back for some much needed R and R!
Shelly enjoying the sand and surf, catching a few rays!

We had great weather and a group of terrific kids out at the beach! Everyone enjoyed the gulf waters and salty air! It was a lovely afternoon!

Fall Fun

Jacob got his hair cut and styled in a "Rayhawk" the day after the Tampa Bay Rays (our baseball team) became the American League East Division Champions. A week later, "Rayhawks" became the rage in St Pete, making Jacob quite the trendsetter!

Sites Along the East Coast of Florida

We spent two days at the Kennedy Space Center. The kids are posing with someone in an astronaut suit - I hope that suit had a/c inside because it was blazing hot out! I was surprised to see this sign at the shuttle display on cochlear implant technology, didn't know there was a connection between space science and ear science!

We spent a day in Jacksonville visiting our friend Stacy and her two adorable dogs, Hershey and Rhona! While in Jacksonville we enjoyed a couple of hours at the Jacksonville Museum of Science and History.

On our way back towards Cocoa Beach, we visited the Daytona Speedway! Margot and Jacob are shown here next to their simulator.

"Staycation" on the Space Coast

Everyone got into the boogie boarding! We'd wait until 4 pm and then head down to the beach for what Jacob referred to as "Shark Time".

Last Days of Summer Fun

The kids spent their last week of camp, where else? Pioneer Camp of course! Margot volunteered as a junior helper, and Jacob spent the week as a camper. They enjoyed making shelters, scarecrows, and cobbler, and had a great time in the blacksmith shop and making this years' signature t-shirts. They would probably report that the best part of the day involved the sounds of an approaching fire truck, and getting sprayed by the onsite fire hose!
